The Fisheries and Agriculture Caring Team organized an event to welcome the Chinese new year on Chinese New Year’s eve. The AFCD Volunteer Team led by Patrick Lai Chuen Chi, Assistant Director (Fisheries) of the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department, and LegCo member Nixie Lam participated in the event. They distributed Chinese New Year lucky bags filled with fish, vegetables, rice and Guangxi specialties to grassroots families in Lei Muk Shue, Tsuen Wan.
LegCo member Nixie Lam stated that the event was very meaningful and gave her blessings to elderly on Chinese New Year's Eve. She thanked the involved parties for their efforts and strived for the elderly’s happiness.
