To implement the strategic plan proposed at the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee to "Support Hong Kong and Macao in building themselves into highlands for gathering international high-end talents," the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong (DAB) established the "Talent Hub" Office in October 2024. This initiative aims to complement the Hong Kong SAR Government's various talent policies while leveraging the flexibility of the private sector to create a collaborative platform that brings together different sectors.

Attracting Talent

We advocate policies to develop Hong Kong as a global hub for top talent, serving as a bridge between government and professionals. Through various events, we bring together policymakers and industry leaders to discuss talent strategies and promote Hong Kong's advantages.

 

Retaining Talent

We help newcomers adapt to local life by providing guidance on visas, employment and daily living. Our multi-platform outreach shares Hong Kong's opportunities through online and offline channels.

 

Collaboration

We expand partnerships with key enterprises, industry associations and professional groups to enhance talent services, career matching and policy initiatives.
