Nixie Lam participated (on the 7th) in a forum commemorating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and promoted deeper exchanges from the political and business sectors.

Nixie Lam stated that in recent years, the SAR government had actively promoted youth exchanges to the mainland and overseas, and there were at least 7 visiting groups to Malaysia every year, which were important measures to promote youth exchanges.

Nixie Lam stated that Malaysians and Hong Kong people use Cantonese as medium of communication and have very similar preferences in popular culture and art. Hong Kong has an important role in promoting art in the Greater Bay Area, and Malaysians are welcome to Hong Kong to seek opportunities in art.
