Challenges and Opportunities
With the rapid development of the GBA, demand for high-calibre talent continues to rise. However, the following challenges persist in regional talent collaboration:

Inadequate joint talent cultivation mechanisms: The absence of a unified development framework hinders responsiveness to diverse industrial needs across the region.

Barriers to professional qualification recognition: Divergent credential standards among cities impede cross-border talent mobility and cooperation.

Cross-border practice restrictions:
Regulatory inconsistencies increase operational complexity for professionalsworking across jurisdictions.
Consequently, the DAB has undertaken significant efforts to advance the establishment of a GBA talent cultivation framework and integrate regional resources to facilitate coordinated talent development. DAB has co-established the "GBA Talent Development Alliance" with various societal sectors to address these challenges and achieve efficient talent circulation and sharing within the region.
